Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González and René González, have been unjustly imprisoned in U.S. Jails for over 11 years. Their so-called crime was investigating U.S. sponsored right wing, anti-Cuban terrorist organizations in Miami that are responsible for the deaths of over 3,400 innocent Cuban people.

On June 15th 2009 , the Supreme Court of the United States announced its decision not to review the case of the Cuban 5. What’s more, since their imprisonment, on 10 separate occasions the U.S. government has denied entry visas to Adriana Perez, wife of Gerardo Hernandez and Olga Salanueva, wife of Rene Gonzalez, to visit their imprisoned husbands. It has been almost 12 years since they last embraced.

Now is more important than ever for peace loving people in Victoria and around the world to know more about this case and its importance for the struggle for human rights and justice.

The newly formed Free the Cuban 5 Committee – Victoria is inviting you to our first public forum where we will be watching an interesting documentary and discussing more about the life and struggle of these 5 men are and what we can do to help publicize their case.
